Tell the California Public Utilities Commission not to make us pay for PG&E’s criminal negligence in starting the Camp Fire! Join the protest Thursday, when the CPUC will consider extending Senate Bill 901, which enables PG&E to pass on liability costs to rate payers, to cover the Camp Fire.
Dozens are dead, hundreds displaced, and many thousands have suffered serious health effects from the smoke. Now they want us to pay for it?!
The state is investigating two specific problems with PG&E equipment as potential starting points for the fire. The company is understandably worried that they will face huge liability, and news reports are questioning whether PG&E can survive financially.
Their solution — passing the financial burden on to the rate payers.
Tell the CPUC to say NO!
