Join attorney Steve Donziger, fresh from 993 days of detention stemming from his decades-long legal fight with Chevron, at the Chevron Richmond Refinery gates. The 9th annual Global Anti-Chevron Day is the day when communities damaged by Chevron around the world gather in advance of Chevron’s annual meeting, this year on May 28. We will speak out to remind the world of Chevron’s devastating impact—from the Ecuadorian Amazon to Myanmar to the Bay Area—and call on the international community to hold Chevron accountable for its destruction of human rights, the environment, and the climate.
We will also be mobilizing in solidarity with the United Steelworkers, USW Local 5, who have been on strike against Chevron for two months.
Join us as we stand up for the Richmond community and refinery workers to demand environmental justice, here and around the world.
