This is an informational event for all those looking for a career or interested in sustainable building. Come find out about the Green Building training programs offered by Laney College, including classes in:
- Architecture
- Carpentry
- Electronics
- Environmental control tech (heating & cooling)
The April 17th event is co-sponsored by the Local Clean Energy Alliance and Laney College. It will include a tour of Laney’s green building labs and presentations from Laney students, faculty, and Mark Hall of Revalue.io, an Oakaland-based energy efficiency company. Learn about East Bay Community Energy, Alameda County’s new Community Choice energy program, which is committed to creating good, clean energy jobs.
Classes include training in the latest technological skills, as well as hands-on construction.
