East Bay Climate Action Expo, Apr 21

Before_the_FloodCelebrate Earth Day!   Come meet many of the people and local organizations in the East Bay that are working to stabilize our climate and promote environmental justice.  Find out how you can have an impact on this critical issue at the East Bay Climate Action Expo.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s acclaimed film, Before the Flood, will screen at 7pm in the Brower Center’s Goldman Theater.  Before the Flood explores many facets of climate change and discovers what must be done to prevent catastrophic disruption of life on our planet.  The Climate Action Expo is FREE but we recommend that you purchase a ticket in advance to secure your seat.

The East Bay Climate Action Expo is co-sponsored by the following organizations:  350 East Bay, Berkeley Ecology Center, Berkeley Climate Action Coalition, Center for Biological Diversity, Citizens Climate Lobby,  David Brower Center, Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, Fossil Free California, League of Women Voters, Local Clean Energy Alliance, No Coal in Oakland, Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter,  Sunflower Alliance, Transition Berkeley, and UC Berkeley Student Environmental Resource Center.

Sunflower Alliance will be tabling at this event, so be sure to stop by and stay hello!

All Goldman Theater seating is general admission, and we recommend early arrival to ensure seat selection.  If you require ADA accessible seating please contact the Brower Center in advance.

The Sunflower Alliance consists of grassroots individuals and organizations committed to environmental justice and the health and safety of  San Francisco Bay Area communities threatened by toxic pollution and climate disruption.  We’re an all-volunteer group helping to build an equitable and regenerative economy—fueled by renewable energy, love of Mother Earth, and the vigorous pursuit of justice.  Let’s go!
