Come to the meeting where the Oakland City Council will take its second and final vote to ban coal. In a great victory for the people of Oakland, the East Bay, and the whole planet, the council voted unanimously to ban shipping through Oakland at its June 27 meeting. But every ordinance needs a second vote to be final. Come and let city council members know we’re still watching. At the same meeting, join the important discussion of measures to protect Oakland’s renters.
