Drive Clean Bay Area has announced a new EV Group Purchase Discount Program, available through December 31. They’ve set a program that charges a flat fee of $495 for lease or finance ($295 for cash purchase) to handle the entire transaction, providing you with expert guidance, negotiating the entirety of the deal including lease and finance rates, allowing you to bypass the games and haggling of the traditional process,
They’ve arranged discounts on selected electric cars. The website provides a list showing how much each would cost with their discount, government and utility rebates, and their service fee — typically around $12K less than the list price.
Drive Clean Bay Area reminds us that in addition to saving money and saving the planet, an electric car gives you a source of electricity if the grid goes out. You can buy an inexpensive device that lets you draw power from your car battery into your house if you need it.
