The next general meeting for No Coal in Oakland features an update on the status of our legal fight with the coal industry, which Phil Tagami is willfully representing. It’s crucial that we move this fight out of the courts and back into the public square. Otherwise, it will eventually go to Trump’s Supreme Court.
We need to spark our resistance to coal and mobilize our forces. We’ll be talking concretely about re-organizing our labor, faith, business, community, and public health allies.
Help us take action on our campaign to keep coal out of Oakland, get Tagami to drop the lawsuit, and to insist that the City Council not settle for storage and handling of any toxic commodities.
