Join a coordinated statewide day of local actions highlighting polluter greed. Greenpeace, the Center for Biological Diversity, and many other organizations have called on activists to create local actions at extraction sites, fossil fuel headquarters, targeting decision-makers (i.e. Sacramento capitol building), or gas stations across the state exposing how polluter greed is ripping off Californians and threatening our future.
Their call for action says: “Oil companies are attempting to exploit a global crisis in order to make record profits at the pump and lock us into more drilling and future crises. In the past few weeks, we’re hearing and seeing that polluters are ramping up pressure on the Newsom administration to keep us hooked on fossil fuels with new drilling permits. By exposing polluter greed, we can push Gov Newsom to resist industry pressure, continue halting new permits, and double down on a commitment to a future beyond oil.”
