Stand against racist attacks on immigrant communities and the Trump administration’s threat of mass deportations. Assert California values to welcome and provide for the welfare of immigrant communities.
As part of the Resistance Tuesdays during the first 100 days of the Trump administration, join with Alameda County United in Defense of Immigrant Rights (ACUDIR) to denounce Alameda County Sheriff Ahern’s participation in mass deportations. We will call on Sheriff Ahern to reject any further entanglement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and mass deportations! Trump’s militarized police state and anti-immigrant and racist polices have no place in our county!
We are also rallying in support of SB 54, the California Values Act, to protect all Californians by ensuring that state and local resources are not used for mass deportations, separation of families!
Tues Feb 21, 11:30 AM – 2 PM
Meet at Oakland Federal Courthouse, 1201 Clay St., Oakland and march to Sheriff Ahern’s office, 1401 Lakeside Drive, 12th Floor
