Join a national day of writing and calling decision-makers to demand they stop the attacks on protectors fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline. On November 14th, gather in community and hold letter-writing, emailing and calling parties to the Army Corps of Engineers, White House, Funders of DAPL, local representatives, and the Department of Justice.
Human beings in nonviolent and peaceful prayer have been attacked and bitten by dogs, shot with rubber bullets, blasted with sound cannons, sprayed with mace & tear gas, held in non-habitable conditions, subjected to unwarranted and traumatic strip searches, targeted by law enforcement, and intimidated with snipers, armored vehicles, and assault rifles pointed at elders and children. We MUST continue to pressure the White House, Department of Justice, and the officials responsible for militarizing Standing Rock to IMMEDIATELY stop the human rights violations happening to our fellow human relatives who are standing for US and our children’s future.
The Dakota Access Pipeline threatens water, treaty rights, sacred sites, and continually the safety and well-being of our human and non-human relatives.
Many of this country’s most dangerous toxic waste dumping, mining, and oil drilling sites are placed in and around indigenous communities. Please stand up to this injustice. The White House and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CAN end this project. Call: The White House, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and your local representatives to stop this disastrous pipeline now. Urge your representatives to become leaders against this devastating pipeline and the recurring human rights violations.
