Join Greenaction to celebrate its 25th anniversary — 25 years on the front lines fighting to “protect health and promote environmental, social, economic, racial, and climate justice.”
Greenaction is a network of frontline community organizations in California, Arizona, Utah, indigenous nations, and elsewhere. They work on issues including protecting communities endangered by hazardous waste facilities, cleanup of contaminated sites, clean water, environmental and climate justice, and protection of indigenous lands.
In the Bay Area, Greenaction organizes with and supports BayView/Hunter’s Point residents against the contamination left by the Hunter’s Point Naval Shipyard, including toxins and radioactive waste.
Greenaction also plays a leading role in the California Environmental Justice Coalition, dozens of local and statewide organizations working to bring systemic change to promote environmental justice and community power.
