Join two bilingual, bi-cultural physicians and Climate Health Now members for Healthy Air for All — Time for Action, a Zoom presentation to learn how climate change and air pollution threaten our health — and what we can do.
Learn: How air pollution harms us, who’s most vulnerable, which communities suffer the most, and how we can take collective action for health and environmental justice.
Speakers: Bilingual, bicultural physicians & Climate Health Now members
- Teresa Munoz, OB-GYN, Kaiser Richmond
- Juan Aguilera Mendoza, Ph.D., M.D., post-doctoral research fellow from Sean Parker Center, Stanford
Drs. Munoz and Mendoza will share scientific expertise and real-world experience about how climate-related air pollution affects vulnerable populations, including children, older adults, and those living with asthma, cardiorespiratory diseases, and other conditions, especially among lower-income neighborhoods of color.
There will be time for questions and for sharing ways to act collectively to make the changes we need to have healthy air for all.
