Alameda County is inviting residents to participate in a virtual community workshop to help update the county Climate Action Plan for Government Services & Operations. The plan will focus on ways to reduce heat-trapping emissions and increase resilience to climate impacts like wildfire smoke, heatwaves, and flooding, in county buildings, fleet, and services.

The county is holding this interactive workshop to get ideas about residents’ needs and priorities. The workshop will include an overview presentation, poll questions for participants to answer, and meetings in facilitated break-out groups. No background on climate issues is necessary.
