Is hydrogen just another false solution promoted by the fossil fuel industry to continue and expand their devastating operations? Mostly, yes — in most of the ways it’s currently being produced and proposed.
But might there by hydrogen technologies that would actually work to help the climate?
This is becoming a big issue fast in California, as the state is applying for a federal Department of Energy grant to create a Hydrogen Hub network to promote hydrogen projects here.
Hear Ashley Kosak, founder of Green Aero and former SpaceX engineer, discuss “hydrogen, the process of how it’s created for energy use, and how the fossil fuel industry hides behind its potentially green application to preserve industry’s continued fuel production and infrastructure expansion. She’ll also highlight innovative technologies that might prove to be more viable solutions.”
After the presentation there will be a Q & A and discussion of these issues and how to combat disinformation, led by Ted Franklin of System Change Not Climate Change, who has been following federal and California state policy on hydrogen.
