Contra Costa County is updating its Climate Action Plan, which outlines actions it will take to address our devolving climate, reduce polluting emissions, and strengthen resilience. The General Plan is also under review, and a round of meetings has been scheduled over the last few weeks for review and feedback on the draft profiles of the county’s unincorporated communities. New meetings have been added to the schedule, important opportunities to impact public policy. Please note a November 18 meeting for Richmond and November 21st meeting for Rodeo. Please show up!
The special meeting in Richmond on November 18th will discuss environmental justice, community health and economic development. See below for time and location.
