Stop the Money Pipeline: Join the Team

September 29, 2021

Join the team to keep up pressure on banks and insurance companies to stop funding the fossil fuel industry.

Stop the Money Pipeline is a coalition of many climate justice and other progressive organizations dedicated to “holding the financial backers of the climate crisis accountable.”

Stop the Money Pipeline has been organizing demonstrations and digital campaigns around the county targeting Liberty Mutual, JP Morgan Chase, BlackRock, pension funds, and university endowments.

Now they’re launching a Take Action Team. People who sign up for the team will receive one text each week, asking them to take a quick digital action: phone calls to corporate CEOs and government decision makers, emails to corporate board members who need to do more for climate justice, and a variety of other tactics telling banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and institutional investors to stop funding, insuring, and investing in climate destruction.
