While Governor Newsom delivers his second State of the State address, we’ll be outside the capitol building in Sacramento to tell him that if he intends to lead on climate, he needs to stop toxic oil drilling in California and start protecting public health and the climate. Will you join us on this important day? The governor needs to know that we demand he keep fossil fuels in the ground by ushering in a just transition.
The greater the turnout, the greater the impact! Please join us and help set the tone for the next decade of climate action in California.
Governor Newsom has an opportunity to stand up to an oil industry that—for decades—has polluted Californian communities and destroyed our climate future. Join the Last Chance Alliance outside of the Governor’s State of the State address as we rally to urge Newsom to phase out oil extraction in California. Climate and environmental justice activists will be gathering from around the region to rally outside the State of the State in support of transformative climate action.
Sponsored by the Last Chance Alliance.
