What are we scared of this Halloween? California’s big electricity utilities, including PG&E, are lobbying to make it too expensive for people to get solar panels on their homes. Join the Nightmare on PG&E Street Rally in front of PG&E headquarters to demand that the state stop this monstrous attack.
We should be working to help millions of people get solar, whether they rent or own their home, so we can cut our energy bills, avoid blackouts, and clean up the air. And a new report shows that rapidly increasing distributed solar and storage is essential to achieving climate goals.
The utilities’ proposal is a monster that will loom large even after Halloween.
This January, the state will decide whether or not to cave to the utilities’ lobbying and their “trick” of making solar more expensive. We need Governor Newsom and the California Public Utilities Commission to reject this attack. To make that happen, we need to demonstrate widespread support across the state.
Come to the rally to hear from awesome speakers and demand affordable solar. RSVP below to receive more information!
