The March 21 national day of action demands that banks stop funding climate disaster. Third Act and others have called this event to highlight the Banking on Our Future campaign: a national effort to pressure the Big 4 Banks—Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, and Wells Fargo—to stop financing the climate crisis.
Participants pledge that they will close their accounts and credit cards with these banks if they don’t shift to clean, renewable investments.
Wells Fargo, headquartered in San Francisco, is one of the biggest fossil fuel investors worldwide. Join weekly actions at Bay Area Wells Fargo branches to educate customers about this campaign and build momentum for the big March 21 day of action. Fridays through March 21, times and location here.
