This training session on using Refinery Air Watch data will provide a big picture overview of fenceline monitoring data from all over the country, including the Bay Area. It’s sponsored by the Fair Tech Collective, which is dedicated to using science and technology to empower refinery communities.
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to download data from the site and figure out what the data say about air quality at the fenceline. You’ll also understand where Refinery Air Watch’s data come from, what its strengths and limitations are, and what regulatory reforms are necessary to secure your right to know what you’re breathing.
