The term “Just Transition” is becoming increasingly prevalent in discussions involving workers, climate change, and post carbon energy economics.
The recent response by the United Steel Workers to 350.0rg’s “Break Free” call to keep fossil fuels in the ground (USW Response to “Break Free”) demonstrates the need for much deeper discussions within the climate justice movement as to what such transitions actually mean for the workers involved.
